ALAMOSA — After being in business for five years, SLV Pet Care is celebrating with a ribbon cutting at their new training facility. The event is set for Nov. 7 from 12 to 2 p.m. at 1431 Main Street in Alamosa. Hosted by Julie Reisinger, SLV Pet Care owner, dog trainer and registered veterinary technician, the event will have giveaways, light refreshments and a raffle.

ALAMOSA — After being in business for five years, SLV Pet Care is celebrating with a ribbon cutting at their new training facility. The event is set for Nov. 7 from 12 to 2 p.m. at 1431 Main Street in Alamosa. Hosted by Julie Reisinger, SLV Pet Care owner, dog trainer and registered veterinary technician, the event will have giveaways, light refreshments and a raffle.   

It’s also a chance to register for classes and meet Reisinger, who’s developed a strong reputation for training dogs. 

“Mitzi loves group lessons,” says Ruth Archuleta. “She learned good manners around other dogs and is now much more obedient due to Julie’s amazing training methods.” 

Raffle prizes will include:  

Gift certificate for SLV Pet Care dog training and pet care services 

Customized bandanas by Seattle Chainstitch Massacre 

SLV Pet Care Swag 

Dog toys and treats 

Greeting cards by PAWS for inspiration 

Gift certificate for a free BARK BOX, generously donated by BARK  

In addition to celebrating their new facility, SLV Pet Care is pairing the event with a supply and donation drive to support the SLV Neuter and Spay Alliance. Items needed include potty pads, towels and paper towels; microwavable warmies (homemade ok but must be washable) and small pet carriers (cat sized). Cash donations will be accepted at the event.

Plus, anyone who makes a supply or cash donation will receive one entry for the raffle. Donations & supplies over $5 will receive multiple raffle entries, based on amount.
