MANASSA – The Manassa Pioneer Days demolition derby took place Saturday at the Manassa Fairgrounds.

The highlight of the derby was Dominic Cisneros who won two heats. He first won the stock car heat and later in the night he won the Limited Weld division. He was also the Most Aggressive Driver in both heats.

Also in the stock car heat, Lance Ortiz was second, followed by Louis Gallegos and Clint Adams.

Sam Garrett was second in limited weld, followed by Ortiz.

The derby started with the cheaters heat with Austin Cordova winning. Nathaniel Garcia was second and Sergio Guerrero was third. Cordova was also the Most Aggressive Driver.

With approximately 30 cars entered, there were two heats in the lite minis division.

The first heat was won by Steven Velasquez,, followed by Chris Rodriguez and Cameron Garcia. Rodriguez was the Most Aggressive driver.

Carly Adcock won the second heat, followed y Gallegos and Jordan Garduno. Garduno was also the Most Aggressive.

Billy Garrett was the winner of the mini vans/small truck division and he was also the Mosts Aggressive Driver. Josh Mortensen was second and there was a three-way tie for third place.
