Nicholas B. Lenzini, a devoted husband, loving father, and successful business owner, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Oct. 26, 2024, at his home in Creede, Colo. Born in Walsenburg, Colo., on Sept. 3, 1949, Nicholas led a fulfilling life with his wife in the home they built in the mountains he loved.
Nick was the proud co-owner with friend Avery Augur of Tomkins Hardware and Lumber, a thriving business in Creede until he sold the business and retired. His dedication and hard work were evident in every aspect of his life, from raising his children to creating a home with his beloved wife, Jeannie. Together, they built a beautiful house in Creede where they shared countless memories with their daughters, Neesha and Miramannee, and their grandchildren, Jenneah, Miramani, William, Anisa, Seth, and Logan.
In addition to his successful career, Nick cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather ("Papa Ducks"). His love and support were unwavering, and he always put his family first.
Nick is survived by his loving spouse, Jeannie, his ex-wife, Ramona, his daughters, grandchildren, sister, and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.
A future celebration of Nick's life will be announced for friends and family to come together and honor his memory. His legacy of hard work, love, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
