We would like to say thank you to all who have shown overwhelming personal and financial support for the Monte Vista Fire Protection District.

On Nov. 12, the Monte Vista Fire Department held its annual chili supper. The potatoes were hot, the green chili was spicy, and the cake was gone by the end of the night!

Once again, our friends and neighbors endured a cold evening and showed up with smiles and donations, making this event one of the most successful to date.

Your continued donations will secure superior equipment for your firefighters to handle the many emergencies that arise within the district as well as provide mutual aid to our neighboring communities.

Rest assured that your volunteer firefighters are ready and capable of answering your call when needed. We wish all of you warm and happy holidays. Thank you for your continued support.
