Alamosa girls golf opens season at Trinidad

ALAMOSA – The Alamosa High School girls golf team began the 2025 season on Wednesday by competing at the Trinidad Invitational at Trinidad Golf Course.

The Lady Mean Moose finished in third place with 316. They were led by Kiara Gallegos who finished in third place with a 90. Addison Rice tied for 13th with a 112, Valeria Cendejas tied for 15th with a 114, and Jayla Quintana placed 20th with a 118.

Salida finished in first place with 261, followed by Fowler with 291.

Salida’s Kyndra Johnson was the medalist with a six-over-par 78.

Alamosa will next compete at the Pueblo Centennial Invitational on April 9 at Walking Stick Golf Course.
