COLORADO SPRINGS — At Norris-Penrose Event Center Cross-Country teams from all over the state gathered to compete. Both of Alamosa’s teams finished int the top-ten, the girls in 7th and the boys in 5th. In 2A Sargent and Centauri were also represented by teams. The Sargent boys placed 8th while the Centauri girls took 15th. Amonth the individul performances were matching third place finishes for both Alamosa teams. Josh Medina took third with a time of 16:36 in the boys’ race. In the girls’ race Lilly Lavier also took third with a time of 18:50. In 2A the top individual times were Riley Kenison of Sargent placing 15th in the boys race with a time of 17:44 and fellow Farmer Kendra Sears taking 11th in the girls race with a 20:54 time.  Below are the placing and times for all valley runners on Saturday.
