MONTE VISTA — The Monte Vista Cemetery Association Board is hosting a short service in observance of Memorial Day at the cemetery on May 31 at 1:30 p.m.

Also, the board will be at the cemetery from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with buckets, water and brushes to assist people with cleaning family headstones.

“We will have the chapel open and encourage you to walk through and see some of the improvements we have made this last few years,” the board stated. “These improvements have been possible only through the donations of all who love this beautiful place.”
