RGNF Divide Ranger District named ‘District of the Year’

Congratulations to Rio Grande National Forest's Divide Ranger District for receiving Rocky Mountain Region's District of the Year award. The can-do attitude of the district employees excelled at innovation, partnerships and getting the work done on the ground in recreation, wildlife, range and timber management. The Ranger District of the year received an Aldo Leopold bench crafted by students at the Collbran Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Colorado.

The Regional Forester’s honor awards are presented each year for outstanding achievement by Forest Service employees and partners.
