CORTEZ, Colo.— The 2019 Intermountain League Art Show was hosted by Montezuma-Cortez High School in Cortez recently. The following are the Monte Vista High School winners.

Briana Bounds received the great honor of People’s Choice Award for her sculpture, “Slender Man.” She also received first place in Advanced Oil Painting and two honorable mentions in Advanced Sculpture
AnnaMarei Garcia received first and second place in Advanced Photography.

The following awards were presented to the Beginner Divisions:
Claudia Hamilton received first place in Colored Drawing.
Pablo Rivera received third place in Colored Drawing.

The following students all received honorable mentions: Amada Quintana, Anastasia Yanez, Alyssia Soto, Aeneas Gomez, Adrian Vargas, Jameson Oberrick and Nashawna Chiquito.
