March 18
Mr. Joshua Herrera, 33, of Monte Vista, was taken into custody on a Rio Grande County Sheriff’s Office warrant
A juvenile of Monte Vista was Cited for Limitations on backing.
An arrest warrant was requested.
Donny Medina, 43, Monte Vista, arrested for DV/Harassment
Disturbance in the 2000 block of East Drive. Report filed.
MV PD took a report of harassment that occurred on Feb. 23 on Martha St.

March 19
There was report of a disturbance on the 700 block of Monroe St. Ms. Crystal Lopez, 29, of Monte Vista, was arrested on a warrant from the Rio Grande County Sheriff’s Office.
MV PD took a criminal mischief report from the 200 block of Dunham St.
MV PD responded to an attempted suicide on the 300 block of Washington.
Misael Lopez Gonzalez, 22, Denver, arrested on warrant out of Cortez, Colo.
Shuraine Wilson, charged with dog at large for chasing pedestrians down the streets of Pennsylvania and Clay.

March 20
A possible sex assault reported from Del Norte Police Department. Case cleared.

March 21
Gregorio Silva 63, Monte Vista, was cited for unlawful dumping.
MV PD conducted traffic stop on 1500 Block of Huxley Ave. Gabriel Hernandez, 19, was arrested for DUI.
Officers responded to the 500 Block of Bronk for a vehicle vandalism.
Joshua Nyquist, 23, Monte Vista was arrested on FTA warrant out of Rio Grande County in the 1700 block of Sickles Street.

March 22
Two car motor vehicle accident. No injuries. Both drivers cited for unsafe driving resulting in the crash.
At approximately 12:46 a.m. officers responded to the 700 block of Monroe Street for a possible overdose victim.
Austin Jiron-Atencio, 18, Monte Vista was arrested on Domestic Violence, 3rd Degree Assault, and Child Abuse in the 10 block of Ricky Place.
Monte Vista Police O fficers responded to a traffic collision on 4th Ave. at Washington St. Ambre Towry, 37, of Colorado Springs, was cited for “Improper Left Turn.”

March 23
Report of a recovered firearm magazine.
Rafael Delgado Jr., 33, Monte Vista was arrested on a no bond warrant out of Rio Grande County. Drug charges were also requested and sent to the DA ‘s office. This took place in the 800 block of 1st Ave.
Monte Vista Police Officers responded to the 700 block of Monroe St. in response to a disturbance. Ms. Tammie Naranjo, 33, Denver, was arrested on the charge of “Harassment” and “Domestic Violence.”
