A shoplifting report at Top Value (222 Solar Ave.), suspect Leobardo Ortega Anaya, 24 of Center has not been located at time of report.

Jan. 21
Traffic accident on 1st Ave. at Broadway St. Driver #1 cited for following too close.
There was report of a theft and property damage in the 200 block of Monroe St.
There was report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Monroe St.

Jan. 22
Mental health issue in the 500 block of Madison Street.

Jan. 23
Report of possible harassment in the 1000 block of Acequia Dr.
Report of a stolen check.
Robert Medina 40 of Monte Vista was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant. This took place in the 10 block of 1st Ave.
Report of a door that was egged in the 600 block of Jefferson. Report filed. No damage found
Report of a traffic accident. Handled civilly. Report filed.
Report of a lost Passport
Cynthia Martinez, 37, was arrested on multiple warrants at approximately 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of Faraday St. and Grand Avenue.
Ramon Madril, 41, Monte Vista, was arrested for a warrant out of Monte Vista Police Dept.

Jan. 24
An intoxicated female party was picked up walking on 6th Ave at Stallo. She was released to a sober party at 723 Clay.
Information report for an elderly disabled female at the 500 block of Batterson. Department of Social Services has been notified for her wellbeing.
John Giergo, 54, New Mexico was issued a summons for Failure to Provide Insurance Upon Request in the 800 block of 2nd Ave.
Juan Meza, 28, Monte Vista was arrested for a warrant out of Rio Grande County in the 700 block of Clay Street.

Jan. 25
PBT test with positive test result at the PD.
Jessica Rubio, 38, Monte Vista, was arrested on a warrant out of Rio Grande County, in the 600 block of Lincoln Ave.
There was a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of Sickles St.
Angelica Salazar, 37, Monte Vista, was issued a citation for DUR Outstanding Judgment, and Kurstin Serface, 22, Monte Vista was arrested on two warrants out of MV PD and one warrant out of APD.

Jan. 26
Patrica Ewbank, 30, Monte Vista, was arrested for DUI and possession of controlled substance
Monte Vista PD provided assistance to Colorado State Patrol on US Hwy 285, MP 53.
