Matthew Torres, 43, Del Norte, was cited for failing to present proof of insurance upon request at Third Avenue and Lyell Street.
Tamala Mar, 56, from Lincoln, Neb., was cited for no turn signal on vehicle when required at 1st Avenue and Broadway Avenue.
Jacob Naranjo, 19, Monte Vista, was cited for hanging objects/other obstructions to vision in the 1300 block of Grande Avenue.

April 4
David Lauro, 24, Monte Vista, was cited for animal running at large/prohibited animal in the 600 block of Morton Street.

April 5
At 8 p.m., the Monte Vista Police Department executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Batterson St. where Javier Salazar 35, Monte Vista was arrested. He was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Schedule II controlled Substance (heroin), Unlawful Distribution of Schedule II Controlled Substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Salazar was transported to the Rio Grande Sheriffs Office and released to their custody.
Monic Medina, 36, Monte Vista, was cited for animal running at large/prohibited animal at 7th Avenue and Monroe Street.
Oliverio Cintora, 44, Monte Vista, was cited for no safety belt and speeding 10-19 mph over posted speed limit in the 200 block of S. Broadway.
Maria Martinez, 71, Monte Vista, was cited for failing/disregarding to stop at required stop sign at 6th Avenue and Jackson Street.

April 6
Sarah Sisneros, 28, Monte Vista, was cited for driving a motor vehicle when license under restraint and displaying expired number plates in the 1300 block of Grande Avenue.
Christopher Dupont, 34, Monte Vista, was cited for failing/disregarding to stop at required stop sign at 6th Avenue and Jackson Street.

April 7
Aide Jaramillo Martinez, 46, Monte Vista, was cited for failing/disregarding to stop at required stop sign at 4th Avenue and South Broadway Avenue.
Chad Herrick, 26, Alamosa, was cited for displaying expired number plates in the 200 block of Grande Avenue.
Rigo Lopez, 33, Monte Vista, was cited for no safety belt at Sherman Avenue and Highway 160.
Josette Avila, 44, Alamosa, was cited for failing to present evidence of insurance at Lyell Street and 4th Avenue.

Rebecca Ingalls, 55, Monte Vista, was cited for failing to signal as required/improper signal at 2nd Avenue and Madison Street.
