IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BILL METZ PARENTS
The high wind has caused a complete power outage at Bill Metz Elementary School. Therefore all students are being released from school effective immediately.
Parents if you would like to come pick up your children from Metz ONLY please start doing so.
Parents who want your children to walk home, if that is normal please know that you may do so, but please be sure a Metz Staff person has spoken with you about doing so. Staff is making phone calls by cell phone to students parents or emergency contact persons because the power outage also affects our phone system.
Students that are NOT able to be picked up parents or whose parents have not been contacted will be taken to the high school where they will be able to eat and bathroom, until they can either be bussed home, again based on parent contact approval or until parents, can pick them up there.
