Investigation continuing

MONTE VISTA— Investigation is continuing into an incident that occurred on Aug. 5 in Monte Vista.
According to the Monte Vista Police Department, Ralph Wayne Hall III, 41, was arrested for domestic violence, assault (strangulation), obstruction of telephone services, false imprisonment, sexual assault, and attempted first degree murder stemming from an incident at 316 ½ Dennis St.
Hall is currently being held on a $500,000 bond in the Rio Grande County Jail. The case is now being handled by the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
