Dorothy M. Sheesley, 95

 DEL NORTE—Dorothy M. Sheesley, 95, of Del Norte died on Jan. 8, 2013. She was born December 7, 1917 in Saguache, CO. to Carl and Lula Marold.

Dorothy, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, and making jokes. Dorothy worked until she was 80. She was a Bronco and Rockies fan, but enjoyed all sports. She even wrote her own book called “Wagging Tails”. Dorothy was a past matron of Eastern Star, but her greatest joy in life was being with her family, and she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons David (Betty) Sheesley of Larimer, Wyo.; Dan (Amy) Sheesley of  Washington D.C.; Skip (Jeanie) Snyder of Grand Junction; her daughter Carlyn Clark of Del Norte, along with 12 grandchildren and 20 great– grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Vaughan Sheesley, three brothers, and one sister.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Gateway Baptist Church in Del Norte.

Dorothy requested private services.
