Zakry Tate Johnson, 18

ALAMOSA — Zakry Tate "Zak" Johnson, 18, of Alamosa, died Dec. 20, 2012. He was born in Alamosa, Colo. on April 10, 1994 to Jimmy and Becky Johnson.
Zak graduated from Alamosa High School in May 2012, and played for the Alamosa High School football team. He enjoyed football, basketball, cars, fishing, pets, the outdoors, being with friends, working with his dad and spending time with his family.
He was a giving son, supportive brother and loyal friend. His sense of humor was contagious and he was always willing to make someone laugh.
His paternal grandparents, Charles and Elaine Johnson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy (Jody) Johnson and Becky Johnson; sister, Tarryn Johnson; brother, Michael Johnson and grandparents, Clarence and Norma Walstrom, all of Alamosa, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Alamosa 4th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Weber Drive.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa.
