ELBERT — Kiowa resident and former Mosca resident Seth Joseph Stoeber, 20, died Nov. 17, 2012 near Elbert, Colo.
Seth was born in Alamosa on June 6, 1992 to Ron and Norma Saunders Stoeber.
To define Seth, one may require a never-ending book of adjectives. He was an outdoorsman, ladies man, gentleman and a skilled carpenter – gifted beyond his years.
A born leader, Seth would never back down from a fight, would never leave a friend standing alone and would always put his love for his family first. Cunning and witty with a smile that could stop anyone in their tracks, Seth was, and forever will be, and unforgettable brother, son, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend.
His uncle, Brian Saunders, and maternal grandmother, Naomi Saunders preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Ron (Sarah) Stoeber of Mosca; his mother, Norma Stoeber of Castle Rock, Colo.; his sisters, Lisa Stoeber of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mari Stoeber of Canyon, Texas; his paternal grandparents, Ernie and Donna Stoeber of Monte Vista, Colo.; his stepsisters, Sydney and Nicole, of Mosca and his step-brother, Nathan, of Houston, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at the Feed Store Church, 4900 E. County Road 2 South in Monte Vista. Burial will follow in the Creede Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Whiz Kids organization in his memory and may be made through the funeral home office.
