Prepping for a new gridiron campaign in Class 1A, the Monte Vista Pirates totally dominated in the early going of a scrimmage against 2A Alamosa on Saturday. Brown-Drysdale Tourney entries due Sept. 16

MONTE VISTA -- The Monte Vista Golf Course will host the 9th annual Brown-Drysdale Golf Tournament Sept. 19.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast served before tee time.
Entries are due by Sept. 16 and will be available at Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa and at the Monte Vista course.
