MONTE VISTA-- An arrest warrant is pending for a man suspected of burglarizing a rural Alamosa home on Thursday and subsequently leading authorities on a two-county chase.

MONTE VISTA-- The 94th annual Ski Hi Stampede proved to be a powerful display of red, white and blue as Colorado's oldest professional rodeo celebration lived up to this year's theme, "Proud to be an American."

Pino, Golden fill Monte Vista police force

MONTE VISTA--The Monte Vista Police Department welcomed two new officers at a swearing-in ceremony held during the Monte Vista City Council meeting on Thursday, July 16. Officers Robert Pino and Dylon Golden were welcomed into the law enforcement family. The addition of these two officers completes the Monte Vista police force and the department now has a full staff.
