Community learns about substance abuse

MONTE VISTA--A Family Outreach Conference held on Friday, Jan. 29 at Ski Hi Park helped educate the community on substance abuse. The event was sponsored by Valley-Wide Health Systems, Crossroads Turning Point, a generous private donation and the Saguache County Department of Social Services. The San Luis Valley Neonatal Substance Exposure Task Force hosted the conference.
