Special day held at Veterans Center

HOMELAKE -- For well over 125 years, the Colorado State Veterans Center has been home to aging and disabled veterans from wars from the Civil War to the present.
Veterans Day is special there.

MONTE VISTA, Support for reopening the Vali Theatre as a modern movie house and entertainment venue continues to grow, and the first benefit for the property in downtown Monte Vista was held last Thursday, Nov. 13.

MONTE VISTA-- The Monte Vista City Council was honored with the presentation of a Starburst Community Award from the Colorado Lottery at last week's city council meeting on Thursday, Nov. 6.
