Urianna’s dream coming true in Philadelphia

MONTE VISTA-- Urianna Acosta and her grandmother Linda Archuleta have traveled to Philadelphia to begin her treatment to hopefully reverse the arthrogyroposis she was born with.
Acosta's doctors believe that they will be able to give her mobility in joints she previously had none with the ultimate goal of seeing her walk.

City welcomes new IT department

MONTE VISTA--The city of Monte Vista has welcomed a new information technology department. The new department will be directed by Jim Belknap. Belknap is also the IT director for the city of Alamosa and will divide his time between the two municipalities.
